This is a compilation of the Annual Open House (Farm) hosted by the Friesian Connection in Dorr, Michigan.

Part of filming stories about Friesian horses in North American has to start with our connection to the owners we've come to love in Michigan. This is rare footage is of a Friesian mare (Dahlia G.) from FireStar Friesians giving birth on May 22, 2018. We called to check on the mare's status and when the owner felt she could go anytime, we packed up our car, driving two hours to the farm East of Lansing. Bill set up his Canon xf305 to film for 5 hours. What we captured was nothing short of being a miracle because, at the perfect time, the mare got up and moved. On August 22, 2020, Bill and Char had the privilege of filming WillowWind Stable’s “Queen of the Farm”, Sorcha My Heart. Mandy and Char groomed Sorcha, Mandy harnessed her, and off they went. Some of what you’ll hear in the video is the deep love Mandy has for her animals. The way she talks about them is touching. Thanks to Lori Brock & Majestic Friesians, Big Rapids, MI for letting C Grace Productions share in this blessed event. A funny thing happened: we couldn't set a stationary camera to catch the birth; we all monitored from 11:00 PM to 4:30 AM, and Lori watched till 5:30. When it didn't look like Maaike was close she went to bed. Bill came out at 6:00 and what do ya know, Maaike's colt was on the ground! Music owned by C Grace Productions, LLC

Huron FireStar is a 2-year old Friesian colt out of Hessel 480 Sport x Mintse 384 Sport. He is a Champion youth at his yearling Keuring and has developed into a beautiful colt. His half brother made Ster as a 3 year old stallion and has begun his training as a sport horse. Like his brother, Huron is now ready for that sport home to begin his training. We have more videos of him at birth and as a yearling showing how his many favorable traits. This boy will be a star to your stable.
